Ms. Sreeta Nair is a Clinical Psychologist at Al Fasht Specialist Clinic specializing in adolescents and adult psychotherapy and group therapy. Ms. Sreeta is registered with the Ministry of Health & Prevention (MOH), Dubai Health Authority (DHA) & Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) bringing over 7 years of invaluable experience in clinical practice. Her professional journey is marked by a commitment to specialized training in suicide gate keeping, and trauma-informed care, under the mentorship of renowned experts like Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk in Trauma Stress Studies. At the heart of her practice lies a deep appreciation for psychodynamic principles and she uses art based modalities and somatic practices in helping clients in their process of working- through. Beyond clinical practice, Sreeta has made significant contributions as an educator. She served as Assistant Professor and Lead Exam Coordinator in Mumbai where her interactions with young adults fueled her passion for understanding their psychological dynamics. This experience not only inspired her own research but also shaped her approach to guiding qualitative research projects, which she believes are pivotal in advancing social sciences.
