Mrs. Rini Grace Roy is a Clinical Psychologist with over 5 years of professional experience. She completed her post-graduate degree in Clinical Psychology (MSc) from Bangalore University and subsequently earned an MPhil in Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore. She gained considerable experience and skills while working at various renowned clinics and hospitals in India. She began her career as a Junior Clinical psychologist at Holy Family Hospital, Kerala in 2017 and from there on moved to Nakkada Mission Hospital in 2019 and Smile Train, an international NGO for cleft, lip and palate, in 2022. She carried out applied research projects for Smile train and collaborated with Clinical Psychologists from University of Oxford, England. As a Clinical Psychologist who is academically oriented, she remains committed to ongoing professional development, and stays up to date with the latest advancements and best practices in the field, allowing her to provide the highest standard of care for her clients. She completed training on CBT for anxiety from the Beck Institute. She has published papers in the journal Advances in Autism in 2021 on the topic “The mediating role of parental playfulness on parent-child relationship and competence among parents of children with ASD.” Another publication in the International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development in 2020 on the topic “Parental Stress among parents of children with Autism, Language Impairment and Normal Children.” She is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families, through psychological assessments and evidence-based psychotherapies.
